Our Other MINISTRIES
And Programs
Community Services
At Christian Mission Aid (CMA), our Community Services ministry embodies Christ's love through tangible acts of compassion. We reach out to the most vulnerable in our communities, from single mothers to the elderly, providing essential food buckets to alleviate hunger. Our commitment extends to rural areas, where we collaborate with local chiefs to implement sustainable solutions like water filters, ensuring access to clean drinking water. These efforts, along with other forms of assistance, are all carried out in the name of Jesus, reflecting CMA's dedication to holistic ministry. By addressing both physical needs and spiritual well-being, we strive to make a lasting impact, demonstrating God's love through practical service and fostering hope in the communities we serve.
The Jesus Film
Christian Mission Aid's Jesus Film Ministry, in partnership with Life Ministry-Kenya, brings the Gospel to life through powerful visual storytelling. We travel to diverse communities across Kenya, sharing a cinematic portrayal of Luke's Gospel that has been translated into hundreds of languages. This approach has enabled us to reach thousands of individuals, many experiencing their first-ever film – a profound encounter with the life of Jesus. Our mobile screenings have become a transformative outreach tool, transcending language barriers and cultural differences to touch hearts with the message of hope and salvation. To expand this impactful ministry, we're focusing on procuring additional equipment for simultaneous screenings in multiple locations. This will allow us to reach even more communities, spreading the Good News to those who might otherwise never hear it. Through the Jesus Film Ministry, CMA is not just showing a movie – we're opening hearts and minds to the transformative power of Christ's story, one screening at a time.
Deaf Ministry
Imagine a world of silence where even the Good News remains unheard. For an estimated 600,000 deaf individuals in Kenya, this is reality. Often ignored, marginalized, and stigmatized, many in the deaf community have never encountered the Gospel or gained access to crucial social and economic information.
Christian Mission Aid's Deaf Ministry is changing this narrative. We've pioneered innovative outreach programs that bring the light of Christ and essential life skills to this underserved community. Through sign language Bible studies, vocational training workshops, and specialized educational programs, we're breaking barriers and transforming lives.
Take Sarah, for example - once isolated, she now leads a thriving deaf church group after participating in our leadership training. Or consider John, who started his own small business using skills learned in our entrepreneurship course.
These stories of empowerment and spiritual growth are multiplying across Kenya, as we continue to bridge the gap between the deaf community and the love of Christ. By addressing both spiritual and practical needs, our Deaf Ministry is not just sharing the Gospel - we're fostering dignity, independence, and hope for a community too often overlooked.
